Nuts And Seeds
Tasty and nutritious, nuts and seeds are encouraged on this real food diet and are a good addition to meals as well as handy for a snack. All types of unsalted nuts are acceptable including almonds, pecans, pine nuts, and cashews. All unsalted seeds are also good Paleo foods and include things like sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds, simply choose your favorites.

 

 

 

 

Paleo Foods to Avoid

 

If you are keen to follow the Paleo diet, you should also know which types of foods you should avoid. All processed products are off the menu, together with any foods that contain added salt. Soft drinks, sweets and chocolate are all also excluded together with any type of dairy produce and fatty meat. Cereal grains should also be avoided, and although most vegetables are acceptable on the Paleo diet, any starchy vegetables and legumes should not be eaten.
