Basic Paleo Meals

Since so many people now are starting the Paleo diet, the desires for tasty Paleo meals have also increased.

There are many good things with this diet of course, and one is that a Paleo meal is often very easy to make!

A basic meal on the caveman diet contains a piece of meat. it can be baked poached or stewed for example, and a side with lovely vegetables.

There are many recipes available that will help you take the basic Paleo ingredients and create a great flavorful meal!

One popular and super easy meal to make is steak and eggs. Both these ingredients are important to this particular diet, and fits well together.

Paleo Steak and Egg meal

I large steak
2 eggs
2-3 tbs. of ghee
paprika.

Heat a pan and add the ghee.

Put some paprika on the steak and place it in the pan.

Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes, or until you think it is properly done. Remove the steak from the pan.

After that, you crack two eggs in the pan. Let it cook until the whites are all done and no longer transparent.

Serve the dish with vegetables of your choice… there are so many to choose from!

Seafood Meal

Do you like seafood? Then you are lucky since seafood is great for a Paleo meal. Here is one delicious recipe:

Grilled Scallops in Red Pepper Sauce

12 large bay scallops
1 tbs. coconut oil
1 Lemon

Red pepper sauce:

1 large roasted red pepper,
1 garlic clove,
juice from ½ lemon
2 tbs. of olive oil.

Squeeze the lemon juice over the scallops.

Mix the ingredients for the sauce in a food processor until smooth and creamy.

Pour in into a saucepan and heat it.

Take a grill pan and add some coconut oil. When the pan is hot, add the scallops and let it cook for about 4 minutes each side.

Just before eating, place the grilled scallops on a plate and pour the delicious red pepper sauce over it. Serve with a dish of crispy veggies and you have a lovely meal!

Chicken Paleo Meal

Maybe you are a chicken lover like me? Chicken is my favorite food and belongs to the classic Paleo meals! This recipe is very easy to make and taste great…especially if you also like cabbage!

Chicken legs with angel hair cabbage

Chicken legs,
Green onion
Angel hair cabbage

Cook the chicken legs in some salted and if you like seasoned water When the chicken leg is done remove them from the pan.

Use the water to cook also the angel hair cabbage along with the green onion.

Cook it until soft, but not mushy. Remove the water, put the cabbage and onion on a plate, add the chicken legs and enjoy!
